Healthy Shake Recipes

Get the most out of your day with these healthy fruit and vegetable smoothie recipes.

Breakfast Juices

You can add a vanilla protein powder or juice plus powder to all the smoothies for an added protein boost

Energy Boost
  • Tablespoon whole-grain rolled oats
  • 4 walnuts
  • 1 Tsp flax seed
  • 1 medium banana
  • Handful fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 Tsp honey
  • About 1 cup unsweetened almond
Green Machine
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • handful of spinach
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon spirilina
  • chilled cup of green tea
  • add a little more water if needed
Wake Up!
  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
Veg Out
  • 2 large handfuls of spinach
  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 3 spears of asparagus
  • 1 apple
  • water – to the line
Ginger Kale
  • 2 large handfuls of kale
  • 1 apple
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 slice of ginger or ginger powder
  • add water to the line

Lunch time smoothie recipes

Avocado, Coconut and Lime smoothie
  • ¼ medium avocado, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • coconut water to max line
Anti oxidant boost smoothie
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 4 cauliflower florets
  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • water to max line
Sweet Success
  • 2 large handfuls of kale
  • 1 small steamed sweet potato (I do mine quickly in the microwave)
  • handful of frozen cherries
  • 12 almonds
  • top with almond milk
Muscle Meal
  • handful of spinach
  • handful of collard greens or broccoli
  • ½ avocado
  • ½ banana
  • 1 peach/nectarine or papaya
  • 8 walnuts
  • 5 almonds
  • top with water
Celerade
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 apple
  • ½ avocado
  • handful of spinach
  • top with water

Sweet fruit smoothie recipes

Spice Cherry
  • ½ cup frozen cherries
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseeds
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
Healthy mint chocolate smoothie
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder (unsweetened or raw cacao is better)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp honey
Sweet carrot smoothie
  • ½ medium carrot, grated
  • ½ cup frozen cherries
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup almond milk
Cardamon spiced watermelon smoothie
  • 1 cup watermelon, cubed
  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup soy or greek yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamon, ground
Peach Nectar smoothie
  • 1 cup tinned or fresh peaches
  • ice cubes
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds or flax seeds
  • dash of vanilla extract
